Rebecca joined the organisation in January 2022. Her role as a Policy and Research Officer focuses on promoting the health, wellbeing and equality of LGBTQ+ people here in Scotland, whilst raising awareness of the specific challenges and/or barriers the community face in regards to health and wellbeing.

Rebecca holds a postgraduate degree in Public Policy Research and is committed to working to influence policy which is equitable, socially just and supportive of the human rights of all – especially those most marginalised within our community. Before joining LGBT Health and Wellbeing, Rebecca worked in social policy research, humanitarian aid and Refugee and Asylum Seeker community development.
