Community Groups in Scotland

You can browse this list of community groups by location, with separate sections for Edinburgh and Glasgow. This directory provides the details of all the community groups that are supported by us, as well as a directory for a number of physical activity groups, art groups and community social groups. Some community groups are supported and promoted by LGBT Health and Wellbeing. They are self-managed and self-organising so their regular activities are not facilitated by LGBT Health and Wellbeing staff.

Do you have a hobby or interest that you’d like to share with others? Have you thought about joining a community group but haven’t found one that you were passionate about? Why not start a brand new group?

We have lots of experience in helping individuals start-up and develop successful community groups. We can assist you with planning and publicity, identifying a suitable venue and can provide ongoing support throughout the group’s existence, so don’t hesitate to get in contact if you have an idea you’d like to discuss further.
