Mark joined LGBT Health and Wellbeing in April 2022 to lead on the strategic development and management of the organisation. Mark began his career as a Health Advisor in a young people’s health clinic where his focus was on sexual health and substance use. During this role, Mark became increasingly aware of structural barriers and inequalities that directly impacted on people’s health and wellbeing. Since then he has dedicated his career to mitigating the impact of health inequalities. He has previously served as CEO of Disability Snowsport UK, Chair of the Board of Trustees at Glasgow Watersports, and joins us from the Glasgow Alliance to End Homelessness, where he was responsible for leading an alliance of organisations to end homelessness in Glasgow by 2030.
