Jules joined the organisation in 2010. Her role as Community Development Worker is to deliver a programme of events and activities that offers LGBTQI people the opportunity to socialise and feel connected to a community. This fun and varied programme of events is enriched by the Events Team volunteers and the activities of a number of community led groups, which Jules coordinates and supports. A Batchelor of Arts degree in Film and Media led to Jules spending 8 years working in radio broadcasting, as well as performing music and hosting events in and around Edinburgh. Her passion for bringing people together and providing safe spaces for people to explore and be themselves remains at the core of her role, delivering the Special Events programme, Rainbow Families and the Lothian Transgender Support Programme.
