Volunteer with LGBT Health and Wellbeing

Volunteer with LGBT Health and Wellbeing and make a difference to the lives of LGBT+ people in Scotland whilst gaining new experiences and skills, meeting new people and connecting with your local community. Whether you are an LGBT+ person or someone committed to equality and human rights, we welcome you.

Community development is at the centre of what we do and volunteers are involved at all levels of our organisation. As a volunteer with LGBT Health and Wellbeing, you could participate in the development and delivery of social events, provide support on our counselling service and national LGBT Helpline Scotland, as well as on our Board of Directors. We have a wide range of projects and services representing diverse communities within the LGBT+ community and we invite you to have a look through our support programme to find a project you would like to get involved with.

Meet our volunteers

Our volunteers are the reason why we can offer such a diverse programme of support responding to different needs of individuals and communities within the LGBT+ community. From governing our organisation on the Board to delivering our LGBT Helpline Scotland, offering counselling sessions and coordinating events, volunteers are involved at all levels of our organisation, making decisions and delivering support.

Everyday we are grateful for the contribution of our volunteers and would like to take this opportunity to highlight their invaluable work. Meet our volunteers here.
